Job Requirements
     - Must be 35 years old
     - Must be a US citizen
     - Must have lived in the US for at least 14 years

Term of the President

    - The term is 4 years with a possible second 4 year term.

Salary and Fringe benefits

    - Salary of at least $400,000

    - $50,000 expenses

    - $40,000 transportation expenses
    - Use of two presidential residences, the White House and Camp David in Maryland

Use of an airplane, Air Force One
    - Use of a helicopter, Marine One
    - Many staff members including a personal chef to assist him in both his professional duties and private life.

Job Functions

    - Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.

          - As Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, the President may declare an emergency and call out the military Reserves. 

          - He may also order the armed forces into military action before Congress actually declares war.     - Make treaties with foreign nations, with two-thirds consent of the Senate

    - Receive ambassadors and other public ministers from foreign countries

    - Appoint ambassadors, Supreme Court justices, federal judges

    - Appoint any officials as provided for by the Congress, with the approval of the Senate

    - Give an annual State of the Union Address to Congress

    - Recommend legislation to Congress

    - Convene Congress on extraordinary occasions

    - Adjourn Congress, in cases of a disagreement about adjournment

    - Fill in administrative vacancies during Congressional recesses

    - Grant reprieves and pardons for offences against the U.S.
